White coated Duplex board with grey back is a kind of cardboard with white and smooth front side and gray matt back shade. The general basis weights are 230g-450g. Mostly coated Duplex board and corrugated fluting medium paper are glued together for use.
Usages: Shirt linings, shoe boxes. Used in industrial products and food packaging. The six grades of whiteboard Duplex paper are as good as: AAA, AA, A, AB, B, and C. Large-scale paper machines produce grade A or above, and the quality is relatively good. The middle layer pulp uses imported waste paper. Because imported waste paper has higher standards, domestic waste paper generally produces low-grade Duplex grey back paperboard.
Double-sided white paperboard/Triplex board is manufactured with three coatings, one coating on the back and the other two coating layers on the front to increase the folding endurance. Double-sided white paperboard/Triplex board is generally used to replace Ivory board to reduce costs. A little wood pulp will be added to the surface of good quality white Duplex paperboard. The higher grade the white Duplex paperboard is, the more slowly it melts when put in water.
The thickness of the Duplex paper varies with different grades, generally for the same basis weight, the lower the grade is, the thicker the Duplex board is.
White Duplex paperboard is composed of top layer, middle layer and back layer. In the production of white Duplex paperboard, bleached pulp is used for the top and back layers, and mechanical pulp, secondary fiber pulp or some other unbleached and semi-bleached pulp is used for the middle layer. The product consists of 3-6 layers, or even more layers. Generally, the bleached pulp of the top layer requires a certain degree of sizing and printing adaptability.
White Duplex paperboard is a liner paperboard produced by a cylinder paper machine, with fillers in the pulp, with a basis weight of 200g/㎡ or higher. Different grades of white Duplex paperboard have different internal qualities such as color, gloss, tensile strength, and burst resistance etc.

White Duplex paperboard could be printed, processed and function as various packaging. White Duplex cardboard is defined as one-side coated white Duplex board grey back and double-side coated white Duplex board white back. The low-layer raw materials of double-side coated white cardboard are the same as the surface layer. Double-side coated white Duplex cardboard is only used for high-end commodity packaging. Generally, Duplex board grey back is mostly used as carton boxes, such as the outer packaging for cigarettes, cosmetics, cosmetics, medicines, food, stationery and other commodities.
